INDONESIA’S MIDDLE CLASS IS GROWING AND SPENDING, BECOMING A MAGNET FOR INVESTORS

Good news for Indonesia’s middle class. Foreign and local investors are increasingly looking to diversify, echoing a shift to second-tier cities that have been seen in other major emerging markets like Brazil, China, and India. This is a very positive improvement for Indonesia, especially since major cities like Jakarta and the island of Java have been rising economically in their middle class. The second-tier cities in Indonesia are increasing their spending, alerting investors that a country in its history which has suffered difficult financial times, is finally developing a burgeoning middle-class. Spending has increased and investors are taking note. Foreign investors are looking to diversify.

Makassar is the provincial capital of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and the largest city on Sulawesi Island. In the sixteenth century, MakaAccording to formerssar was the dominant trading center of eastern Indonesia, and soon became one of the largest cities in island Southeast Asia. The

According to former Vice-President Jusuf Kalla, when comparing Makassar with other cities in Indonesia, the majority of investments have been by local Sulawesi businessmen. Not only are Indonesians taking more risks financially, but other rural Indonesian cities are now rapidly following suit.

Management Meeting

#1 Last week our management has taken a tough decision to postpone UIC2012 and hold it on April 30th 2013 instead of October 30th 2012. We announced it by issuing a special email which followed by online webinar (record can be found here https://uinvest.com.ua/global-uinvest-ne ) . Although we did our best to explain our decision and provided information, we still hear questions from uinvestors so I am giving more details below.

Why we postponed the conference.
This is honest answer - low interest of uinvestors. We have put LOTS of efforts to make it huge and great event but less than a half tickets have been sold. Yes, we still can run the conference for this number of people because we're 100% ready. But this is not what we want. Speakers, management and presentations are worth attention of hundreds of people.

What now
April 29th-May1st is the date of new conference, UIC2013. Those who bought tickets for UIC2012 automatically get tickets for UIC2013, 3-day conference. During this new conference we plan:
1. Present US broker company staff, that will support our business in the USA
2. Present GUN business owners and first results of businesses we invest in
3. Reports of UInvest management
4. Presentations prepared by speakers announced for UIC2012 (all of them agreed and confirmed their attendance)
5. Presentation of UInvest2013, UInvestMobile
6. Presentation of **********.net - global online payment system created by UInvest

all conference visitors will get special gifts, of course (but that is for later, at the moment it's a marketing secret I cannot disclose :) )

Bottomline: we admit we had to work harder to inform all uinvestors about UIC2012 (we have really nice surprises and our program is very interesting), thus we would be able to sell all tickets. But we have learnt our lessons and we will be more successful now. Moreover, we will make the April conference better, more informative and helpful. Don't forget that in January 2013 we expect SEC to release new regulations for all involved in crowdfunding which will put us on the top of all competitors: they're still thinking of ways and starting up while we've been in this business for 5 years and have something to show.

2. Trading company - once again, explanation on Friday's news

Here is the explanation: Trading Company was the first international project, it came from one of our canadian agents. The owner of this project indicated his desire to get listed and we had no hesitation to do so. However, after we required some steps to guarantee his payouts he suddenly stopped responding. We did not transfer him money of uinvestors, instead GUN co owners gave him a couple of weeks to decide. Then we announced that project owner failed to provide guarantees of payouts.
Everyone was informed about it and we gave 3 months to sell shares and get money back.

Now 3 months over, we've removed this project from our website

3. Good news from UInvest
We will have at least 2 projects within next 10 days. I know some uinvestors always ask about it so this is to answer your questions. At least one of the projects will be international project. Let me don't give you more details because I don't have much information

One more news is that we have a few shares of GUN in Gunproject. These shares were repurchased by gunproject during these months from those uinvestors who were willing to sell them, but the shares weren't put on sale back. Thus, now we have these shares left so we will put them on sale at initial price, $1750. Again, there are only a few shares available, we are going to put them on sale on Friday at 4pm UInvest time.

I came to Medan on Oct 4th, contacted Robert who came to my hotel and picked me up on his car with driver.
We directed to Kisaran, small city 5 hrs driving from Medan where the business is located

During the journey we talked in 3, with Robert's business partner. I figured out that the gentlemen are familiar with uinvest concept, with uinvest rates and how things are handled here at uinvest. They realize and understand that they will have to pay dividends right from the start of the project and that they must follow our rules.

During the next 48 hrs we talked a lot and I can tell that they are very informed businessmen. They know details of the business, understand prospects and possess experience.

#2 Industry

The business is about extracting palm oil from the fruits of palm trees. I was informed with details about demand on the oil, its main buyers,  problems of suppliers. The palm oil is widely used in cooking and cosmetics. The business is quite simple (in its idea) - there are palm trees that are growing all around the Sumatra (island where the business is located). Each tree may give fruits for 20-30 years. Because there are no seasons, each tree bring fruits 3-4 times per year.

Robert's business takes a few chains of this cycle:
- Buy fruits from small suppliers who do harvesting;
- Process them on own collection center;
- Send the processed and graded fruits to mills.

- price Robert pays to small suppliers who prefer to get paid fast and sell all the fruits wholesale.
- and price Robert sells his fruits to mills who don't want to deal with lots of small suppliers

#3 Plans

Current mills are loaded about 10-20% of their capacity. I was taken to a mill and I was talking to its manager face to face. He confirmed they have to deal with lots of suppliers and amount of fruits is not enough to load even 1 shift.
So, Robert plans to accumulate small suppliers and become a "general" partner for mills.

Second plan is to build its own collection center (where the fruits collection will be done). I was taken to a place owned by Robert and saw the construction works. I was told that the building will be completed within 6 weeks from now.

Accumulating fruits, building quality collection center will give Robert competition advantage although nobody in Kisarin seem to care about competition: lack of educated and equipped suppliers is a fact I was able to see.

#4 Conclusion

a) The owners of the business are well prepared professionally, they possess knowledge, experience and "links" which is very important in this country. They know how to run business in practice.

b) The industry is worth attention, it really can give high profit to businessmen. There is a great demand on the palm fruits. Suppliers don't seem very strong although they take a large portion of the market (about 40%)

c) When we talked with Robert, we agreed on legal details of the deal: we will start with 20% security deposit and later, when we see cash flow, we might reconsider it lower. Robert should  email me a draft of debenture agreement which will regulate our relationships.

Trading Company project have been officially closed
	All investors were informed that up to October 10, 2012 everyone had an opportunity to sell shares of the trading company project on their own/efforts. Those ones, who could not complete selling by the appointed deadline, did not lose a penny, as all shares were bought by the market maker at the start price.
