UInvest is Real Bussiness

This statement is a response to our article"Scam warning or a mistake?" published on 15 November 2011. It contains interesting information, please read:
Dear Ivaho, money-monitor readers,

That article is a mix of facts, thoughts, opinions the author was able to find on public forums. It has no description of UInvest business model which makes the article incomplete and misleading. We were not contacted for any clarification and this comment was given not for this article:

 “we do not post any specific business information in public. It is our policy."

We are ready to come to every forum in the world to clarify things of our business and uinvestors know this.

Surprisingly for us (after such article), money-monitor turned to be interesting web resource and we noticed Ivaho does great job to do own due diligence. This is something we really respect, this is why we are here with our comments.

First and the most important: UInvest has been around for 5 years and we’ve been always honest with you. This is why we’re still here, this is why we’ll be here for years to come.

Next. If you took a look at UInvest website of 2008 you would notice no pictures of projects at all. It was a simple corporate website describing retail investment products. We were still selling businesses, we were still guarantors for both sides but we didn’t post any pictures on our website. And yes, we were mostly an offline company.

 

2009. We decided to make our website more user-friendly and redesigned it. To give a sense of what we’re selling here we put stock pictures on our website.

Meanwhile we decided to concentrate on developing internet marketplace. The marketplace should provide investors with information about investment opportunities, and investors should be provided with ability to advertise their businesses and raise funds. UInvest starts working via agents – business agents are companies that handle contacts with businesses, financial agents are companies that handle payments to uinvestors. Thus, UInvest is still a guarantor, it still analyzes standing of companies presented, still manages risk through web services.

2010. We started getting more internet users who required more information on the website. Some users asked us to remove stock photos and upload real photos and videos of businesses we sell. We asked our agents to provide this information. At the same time we were asked by uinvestors to introduce additional payment methods – it was successfully done with help of financial agents. UInvest model works successfully.

2011. Most of projects come with video. Agents provide us with media data, our videographer makes a video, puts a voice over while analysts study financial reports of company presented.  UInvest role – organize the whole process and reduce risks of investors and business owners.

Recently we noticed that one of our agents provided wrong content (this is the problem article describes). Not wrong BUSINESS DATA but some wrong media files representing it. Business data is cash flow, earnings and other specific information. It is correct and actual. As we understand, some folks hastened to inform internet audience about this issue which caused fuss and confusion. Well, we honestly admitted this defect (agents’ content was still provided for informational purposes only) and posted a response on our forum. It is not good, but we understand our fault and took it seriously. Here is what was done:


-          We removed questionable content from our website;

-          We initiated a research of each case ourselves;

-          We contacted some of businesses directly and verified accuracy of their media files;

-          Agreement with that agent was broken.

As you can see, we reacted to the situation in an adequate manner and did what every company had to do. Nobody lost anything, businesses work, earnings are paid as usual.

What are our plans?

In January we will complete verification of all businesses. The aforementioned issue gave us lots of valuable experience which will help us to deal with this problem in future, when we will have not 5 but 500 agents in various countries with recently launched Global UInvest Network.
